Six More Weeks of Winter...

Craig Rutman, your Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area Realtor wishes you a Happy Groundhog Day!

Well folks, it appears that Punxsutawney Phil has made his annual forecast....and the news is sadly not so good for those of us who are looking forward to an early Spring.

Apparently, groundhog Phil, in the presence of several thousand loonies people, DID see his shadow today, signifying that there will be six more weeks of Winter this year!

And, even though it's been a relatively mild winer thus far, that's not pretty comforting news considering how much some us prefer the Spring over Winter.

Personally, I don't rely on rodents for my weather predictions. I prefer to consult the all knowing, all seeing, Magic 8 Ball for prognostications of this sort....... and for all my major decisions!

Craig Rutman, your Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area Realtor doesn't rely on rodents to predict the weather. It's still winter. Put on a coat!

But if you're going to rely on a rodent, or the Magic 8-Ball to choose a Real Estate agent to help you buy or sell your Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area home, you might as well just pick a name out of the phone book.

Hey, how bad a decision could that be? I mean, after all, Punxsutawney Phil gets it right about 30% of the time!

Happy Groundhog Day!

Craigster, Hate to hear you're in for another six weeks of winter.  Oddly enough out of the 310 days of sun Albuquerque has today is total clouds heavy with what we hope will be much needed snow!  No shadow for any big ole groundhog in the Q today.  Imagine that... Bring on Spring!

Craig- this has to be one of your best.  As for 6 more weeks of winter... well if it's what I've been experiencing here in Delray Beach.. I'll take it!!!!

Yup, darn it..we have been having such mild weather and can even see green grass here in WI in feb, sure wish it would be an early spring once!

Craig, must admit I love the movie more than the critter prediction. Although, the groundhog peeking out the tunnel in this post is way cuter than the guy in need of dental correction. ;)

Are groundhogs ever wrong?  Take it easy and enjoy your day, we're having spring like weather in my neck of the woods today.

Craig: I sure hope Phil got it wrong this year.  Although our winter has been very mild, I am ready for spring to arrive.

If Winter feels like the Spring weather we've been having, I'm OK with 6 more weeks!

Out in California, we haven't had much of a winter at all.  I'd like to see rain the next 6 weeks so there's a chance of the grass not dying and me taking shows longer than 60 seconds :)

Looks like everyone is expressing the same sentiment. If it's 6 more weeks of what we've had, then there's no problem at all.

This whole thing never made sense to me.  First of all, spring technically starts 3/21...so we have 6 weeks anyway.  I think that once we get to mid Feb, on avg each week will be progressively warmer - on average.

Craig, here in Colorado, six more weeks of winter is a good thing.... The ski ares are just now getting some of their best snow.  Bring it on.....

Craig, hey I'll take six more weeks of what we have today...68 and sunny...I could get used to these Alabama winters.

Winter?  Raleigh Cary has been wonderful!  I saw road kill on HWY 1 heading North Toward Cary.  I wonder if that could be.....

Love it!  That good old 8 Ball is brilliant!  I can't believe the winter we have had here on the Seacoast...our biggest storm was back in October and we haven't had much snow since.  What we have had has melted within a day or two.
